2025 Senior team

Senior year is full of things to worry about: College decisions, prom dresses, grad parties, and how to make your hair look decent in a graduation cap. The good news is: Team ‘25 makes senior photos stress-free and budget friendly.

The team will consist of a handful of upcoming high-school seniors from in and around the DFW area, with any additional requirements listed below.

Throughout the course of the year, members will participate in 5 different senior photoshoots, receiving both group and individual photos at each session. Each photoshoot theme, date, and location will be voted on and selected by the team of seniors in advance. This will give plenty of notice for outfit planning and schedule accommodation. The photoshoots will be spaced out relatively evenly throughout the course of the school year, meaning each senior is guaranteed a fall, winter, spring, and cap and gown session at a fraction of the typical senior session rate.

Cost of membership is a flat fee of $150 per senior- which is 25% LESS than the cost of a single ONE hour senior session at my current rate. You heard me. Over $1000 value for $150. My reason for this? My senior rep team is my favorite project every year, and has been one of the cornerstones of my businesses since its start in 2022. My senior team has brought in dozens of clients from across DFW, provided me with some of the best marketing content, and brought me so many new friendships and experiences! Therefore, I consider this project more of an investment than a way to make profit outright. Membership fees are put towards studio fees, props, equipment, travel, and other materials needed to provide the seniors with the best experience and photos.

Membership fees are due upon selection, which will occur on May 1. Meaning that a spot on the team cannot be secured until dues are paid. This can be done via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. Seniors and parents wishing to pay with cash or check must make arrangements with the photographer after being selected. No additional or hidden fees will be charged throughout the year’s duration.

Members of the senior team will be used for marketing and advertising for the Shoots With Shelby social media accounts and website, and will serve as spokesmodels for the brand. Members are encouraged, but not required, to post and tag Shoots With Shelby in their favorites photos from the various photoshoots. Membership comes with no additional loyalties, meaning members can feel free to work with other photographers while being a part of the team, including participating in other rep teams! I’m all about community over competition. There’s room for all of us!

Applications will be reviewed by May 1st and official invitations to join the team will be sent out after applications have been closed.

team requirements

  • Must live in or around the DFW area

  • Must be member of the 2025 graduating class

  • Must feel comfortable with posting their senior portraits to their social media

  • Must have parent or guardian agreement and involvement

  • Must agree to the model program price

  • Must understand no refunds will be administered due to missing a shoot, as there will be plenty of notice and dates will selected in advance to accommodate each senior’s schedule as much as possible.

  • Must be excited to meet new seniors and represent Shoots With Shelby!

  • Must tag photographer in any social media posts of your photos.

  • Parent and senior must both agree to being posted on the @shootswithshelby Instagram page and Shoots With Shelby website!

  • Parent or senior must have an active email account in order for us to share your photos with you.

Shoot details

  • Each session will be an hour long, and will include both individual and group portraits.

  • Locations will vary, however all will be within the DFW area.

  • One parent or guardian may attend shoots, however extra friends and guests are not permitted unless special permission is received from photographer.

  • Photos will be distributed through a digital album within 14 days of the shoot.

  • Photoshoot dates will be determined a month in advance, only to be rescheduled if completely necessary due to weather or exceptional circumstances. So get ready to mark your calendars!

  • While not required, we encourage friends to apply to the modelling team together, as it makes the photos even more fun and memorable!
